Week 4 of the Thirty Logo Challenge is now live on the site portfolio. This weeks logo suffered a fair bit due to the lack of time and effort I was able to put into it but I put up what I had managed to do in order to keep the project going and to stop myself from falling behind.

If you don’t know what the Thirty Logos Challenge is, it’s an awesome new challenge where you get sent 30 fake, yet realistic logo design briefs with the goal being to improve your design skills. You sign up by entering your email on their website, you then get the one design brief sent to your email everyday for 30 days. Week 2 of my Thirty Logo Challenge has now been added to the Thirty Logos section in the portfolio. Truthfully, I struggled with this logo a lot and ended up just pushing out whatever I could to have something done within the time frame I have set for myself. I definitely would have liked to work on it for a bit longer but for the sake of time and to make sure I actually finish this challenge I felt it best to just leave it as is. Maybe I’ll come back to it another time, after the challenge when my skills have hopefully improved.

For the next little while, whilst I update the website, I will also be taking part in the Thirty Logos Challenge as a way to improve my branding skills. Currently I have all the briefs collected and will be uploading finished challenges sporadically over the next few months. Although the challenge is aimed at daily logos, I am planning to do at least one logo brief a week, due to work and personal commitments, this is as often as I’ll be able to work on the challenge.
