Well this week was a little bit of a bust. I didn’t get a lot of time to do as much research as I would have liked this week but any of the research that I did get to do was all online as I didn’t have the chance to get to the library, I think I’ll have a better chance of getting there next week. I’m not sure if they’ll have many books on my topic, I’m mainly looking for books on Japanese culture and design trends.
Any research I did get done this week was mainly online and was about recent Japanese design trends. Other than that there wasn’t a whole lot else I had time to look for.
Also due to the timing of when our supervisors were announced I didn’t have the chance to change my work days if I needed to, and I needed to so I ended up missing my first day of supervised class. To make up for it I went to a different class later on in the week and although it wasn’t my class it was still pretty helpful. I got some information on ethics and whether I would need to go through that process or not and also got some feedback on my presentation from week 1.
Overall not a great week but not a terrible week either, here’s looking towards next week and hoping I’ll get more research done then.
